A digital system to gather and analyze public health emergencies information in a fast and organized manner is being worked on in all health institutions—- Mr. Agune Ashole

The regional Institute of Public Health is giving training on Public Health Emergency Information Digitalization (PHEH-DHIS-2) to professionals from different health institutions in Arba Minch city.

In the message that Mr. Agune Ashole, the director of the Southern Ethiopian Regional Institute of Public Health, attended the training, he stated that a digital system that can quickly collect and analyze public health emergencies is being worked on in all health institutions with great focus on providing current and complete information to the concerned body. They have warned that they should send it through the expanded digital system.

Mr. Agune Aklewum said that this training is prepared for the fifth time and the aim is to update the collection and management of health information to prevent accidents, identify them in time and respond to accidents quickly.

The training will help health professionals to develop their skills to prevent and control emergencies and the institute is cooperating with the Ethiopian Public Health Institute and other stakeholders to provide the necessary materials for the work and will continue to provide strong support and monitoring for its success.
