A landslide accident occurred in Suri zone, South Suri woreda, a person died.

Five people have died in a landslide accident that occurred in Uri zone South Uri woreda Komer kebele.

In the district day 13/11/2017 E. Due to heavy rain around 10:00 in the afternoon there was a landslide accident at 2:30 in the evening.

It has been reported that a whole family has died in the landslide that happened in the district Komer Kebele.

It is known that the regional health bureau: Public health institute: zone and district leaders and red cross coordinators are present and providing the necessary support.

The Southern Ethiopian State Institute of Public Health expresses its grief over the accident and wishes comfort to the families of the deceased.

I would like to take this opportunity to inform the society and concerned parties to take necessary precautions to prevent similar accidents during the winter.
