የክልሉ ጤና ቢሮ ኃላፊ አቶ እንዳሻው ሽብሩ በተያዘው በጀት ዓመት በክልሉ የወባ በሽታ ወረርሽኝ መከሰቱ ለጤናው ሴክተር አገልግሎት አሰጣጥ ተግዳሮት እንደሆነ አስታውሰዋል።
በክልሉ ባለፉት 9 ወራት ከ2 ሚሊዮን በላይ ለሚሆኑ የህብረተሰብ ክፍሎች የወባ በሽታ ምርመራ ተደርጎላቸዋል ያሉት የቢሮው ኃላፊ 750 ሺህ የሚጠጉት በሽታው እንደተገኘባቸውም ጠቁመዋል ።
በበሽታው ከተጠቁ 99 በመቶ የሚሆኑት የተመላላሽ ህክምና አገልግሎት ያገኙ ሲሆን 1 በመቶ የሚሆኑት ደግሞ ተኝተው መታከማቸውም ተገልጿል።
